Mary Motorhead

“Mary Motorhead has been locked in a prison cell after stabbing her husband in the head with a 12-inch carving knife.”

Collaborating with the Irish National Opera, I had the pleasure of showcasing the complex character and nature of emotions that have wholly consumed Mary. Her rage and grief stuck out to me the most, which helped me create the illustrations below.

The full pieces are 9ft tall and were displayed in the Siamsa Tíre on the 19th of October 2024.
